DURATION: 13 NIGHTS / 14 DAYS PLACES COVERED: - BHUBANESWAR-PURI-KONARK-CHILIKA-GOPALPUR-RAYAGADA-JEYPORE-JAGDALPUR-KANKER-RAIPUR

Day 1: Arrival at Bhubaneswar

On arrival at Bhubaneswar airport transfer to the hotel. Later if time permit half day sightseeing of famous city temples including Rajarani, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar ( Gem of Orissan architecture ), Brahmeswar & Lingaraj ( it is the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar). Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

Day 02 - Bhubaneswar

Morning visit to Nandankanan Zoo ( closed on Monday). This Zoo is famous for its white tiger safari. Later visit to tribal museum ( closed on Monday ), Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

Day 03 : Bhubaneswar - Dhauli - Pipli - Raghurajpur - Puri

Morning visit to Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves ( the oldest rock cut caves ). Then drive to Puri enroute visit Dhauli the peace pagoda, Pipli the applique work village & Raghurajpur craft village. On arrival at Puri check in to the hotel. Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.

Day 04 : Puri - Konark - Puri

Morning visit to Jagannath temple ( non hindus are not allowed ). Then drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple ( one of the world famous heritage site ). Enroute visit Ramchandi temple, Chandrabhaga beach & fishermen village. Return back to Puri. Evening visit to beach market. Overnight at Puri.

Day 05 : Puri - Chilika - Gopalpur

Morning drive to Chilika lake at Barkul ( the largest brackish water lake ). At Chilika take the boat cruies to explore the birds island & Nalabana island. Then proceed to Gopalpur and check in to the hotel. Overnight at Gopalpur.

Day 06 - Gopalpur - Taptapani - Saura Tribe - Rayagada

Morning drive to Rayagada enroute visit Taptapani the hot sulpheric spring & Saura tribal villages . On arrival at Rayagada check in to the hotel. Overnight at Rayagada.

Day 07 ( Tuesday ) : Rayagada - Bisamkatak - Rayagada

Morning drive to Dukum ( near Bisamkatak ) to visit weekly market of Desia kondh ( weekly market commence on Tuesday only ) . Later visit to Dokra crafts village at Jhigidi. Return back to Rayagada. Overnight at Rayagada

Day 08 ( Wednesday ) -Rayagada - Chatikona - Jeypore

After breakfast drive down to Chatikona to watch the interesting colourful weekly market of Dongriya Kondh Tribes ( weekly market commence on Wednesday only ). This tribe is one of the most primitive tribe of the Kondhs and they live in the high slopes of the Niyamagiri Hills. Then visit to Minapai ( the bamboo craft village ). Later drive to Jeypore. Overnight at hotel in Jeypore.

Day 09 ( Thursday ) - Jeypore - Ankadelli - Jeypore

After breakfast, drive to Ankadelli to visit the famous Bonda tribes ( weekly market commence on Thursday only ), who comes once every week for their weekly market. It is a unique opportunity to see such a colourful concentration of typical tribals at one place. Most interesting is to watch the Bonda woman in their colourful Jewellaries and marketing commodities.Then drive back to Jeypore. Overnight at hotel in Jeypore.

Day 10 ( Friday ) : Jeypore - Kunduli - Jagdalpur

After breakfast, drive to Kunduli to visit the weekly market of Paraja tribes ( weekly market commence on Friday only ) . It is the biggest market of the tribal area. Then visit Jagannath Temple & tribal meusem at Koraput. Lunch at Jeypore . Then drive to Jagdalpur and enroute visit the Kotapada (a weaving village) . Overnight at Jagdalpur.

Day 11 ( Saturday ) : Jagdalpur

Morning visit to Kanger Valley National Park . Then drive to Mardoom to see the tribal market of Maria & Muria tribes. Then drive to Chitrakoot Water Falls ( known as Niagra of Chhatisgarh ) . Drive back to Jagdalpur. Overnight at Jagdalpur.

Day 12 ( Sunday ) : Jagdalpur - Kanker

Morning visit to Kondagaon ( Rot iron craft centre ). Then visit to Narayanpur Sunday market also see cockfight. Then proceed to Kanker and check in to the hotel. Overnight at Kanker.

Day 13 : Kanker - Sirpur - Raipur

Morning drive to Sirpur enroute visit Champaner & Rajim . Then visit Sirpur Buddhist site and proceed to Raipur. Overnight at Raipur.

Day 14 : Departure transfer

Morning transfer to airport to board the flight for onwards journey .
